Casa de Venezuela Delaware Valley anuncia la apertura de Diálogo 365, su 2nd Exhibición Anual de Arte, la cual estará en muestra desde el 2 al 27 de Marzo en la sala Ice Box del edificio de arte Crane en Filadelfia.

En Abril del 2008, la Casa de Venezuela celebró el 4to aniversario con la apertura de Memorias, su primera exposición colectiva de veinte artistas Latinos y Latinoamericanos en el Valle Delaware. En la misma, se mostraron treinta obras en pintura y técnica mixta. La exhibición se llevo a cabo durante todo el mes de Abril en los espacios de la Galería Artesanos en el área de Manayunk de la ciudad de Filadelfia.

Casa de Venezuela incorpora la exhibición de arte como un programa permanente en sus iniciativas anuales debido al gran éxito y aceptación, así también como por su carácter incluyente del arte Latino y Latinoamericano en el área de Filadelfia. Este programa se adhiere a los objetivos de la Casa de Venezuela al apoyar iniciativas culturales y artísticas que sean inclusivas.  

En celebración de su 5to Aniversario, la Casa de Venezuela organiza su segunda exhibición de arte anual. Diálogo 365 busca explorar un diálogo visual que desafíe nuestros conceptos pre-establecidos  de origen, pertenencia, migración, desplazamiento, transformación, territorio y limites relacionados a Latinoamérica;  buscando crear un espacio de mas entendimiento cultural y social sobre esta región.  Los requisitos de técnica fueron expandidos para incluir artistas trabajando en escultura e instalación con video, sumándose a las ya establecidas técnicas de pintura, dibujo, fotografía y técnica mixta.

Diálogo 365 representara a treinta artistas que actualmente viven en los Estados Unidos, y en países de Centroamérica, Suramérica y el Caribe:Adrián Abonce, Alejandra Villasmil, Alexis Duque, Alicia Meza, Álvaro Altamar, Amalfi Ramirez-Finnerty, Andria Bibiloni, Betsy Casañas, Blanca Gruber, Carlos Núñez, Daniel de Jesús, David Hernández, Diógenes  Abreu, Doris Nogueira-Rogers, Emilio Arraiza, Erick Sánchez, Gina Echeverry, Giovanni Escala, Henry Bermúdez, Isaías Amaro, Jorge Figueroa, José Guacache, José Guedez, Karim Márquez, Karla Blanchard, Luz Selenia Salas, Marta Sánchez, Maximiliano Medina, Michelle Ortiz, Morella Jurado, Nicky Enright, Rafael Aviles, Renzo Ortega, Rómulo Peña, Roxana Pérez-Méndez, Simón Bolívar, Susana Amundaraín, Tony Rocco y Vladimir Da' costa.

 Sus obras juegan una narrativa particular en relación al tema de Diálogo 365  y esta exhibición nos da la oportunidad de ver sus obras en un nuevo contexto.

 La Casa de Venezuela ofrecerá una recepción con los artistas el Jueves, 12 de Marzo de 6 p.m. a 9 p.m. en el espacio de la exhibición: Crane Arts Building, 1400 N. American Street. Filadelfia. Esta abierta al público en general.

 Esta exhibición es posible en parte por el apoyo de la junta directiva, particularmente Andreina Castillo, miembro de la junta encargada de la programación cultural y curadora de la exhibición anual de arte. La Casa de Venezuela esta enormemente agradecida por el apoyo del jurado de selección que incluye a: Julia López, Leeway Foundation; Isabel DeBeary, Galería La Isabela; Sandra Andino, Taller Puertorriqueño y Anthony Fisher, Indigo Gallery.

La Casa de Venezuela invita al público en general a disfrutar de esta excelente exposición en el Ice Box en el área de Northern Liberties/Olde Kensington en Filadeifa. La galería Ice Box estará abierta al público de Miércoles a Domingo de 12 am a 6 pm.

Casa de Venezuela Delaware Valley announces the opening of Diálogo 365,its 2nd Annual Art Exhibition, on view from March 2nd to March 27th at the Ice Box of the Crane Arts Building in Philadelphia.

In 2008, Casa de Venezuela, in celebration of its 4th anniversary, launched its first art exhibition entitled Memorias. It gathered a group of twenty two Latino and Latino American artists in the Delaware Valley and showcased thirty paintings and mixed media works. The exhibition was held during April of 2008 in the spaces of Artesano's Gallery in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia.

Casa de Venezuela is incorporating the art exhibition as a permanent program of its yearly initiatives, because of its great success and expansion of Latino/Latin American art throughout the Philadelphia area. This program is adhered to the goals of Casa de Venezuela, to be an inclusive and supportive organization of arts and culture initiatives in the area. 

In celebration of its 5th anniversary, Casa de Venezuela hosts its second annual art exhibition. Diálogo 365 seeks to explore a visual dialogue that challenges our pre-established concepts of origin, belonging, migration, displacement, transformation, territory and boundaries related to Latin America; aiming to create a space for further thought on social and cultural understanding about this region. The media was extended to include video installation and sculpture; in addition to painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media.

 Thirty nine visual artists living in the US, as well as in countries in Central America, South America and the Caribbean are represented in Diálogo 365: Adrian Abonce, Alejandra Villasmil, Alexis Duque, Alicia Meza, Alvaro Altamar, Amalfi Ramirez-Finnerty, Andria Bibiloni, Betsy Casañas, Blanca Gruber, Carlos Nuñez, Daniel de Jesus, David Hernandez, Diogenes  Abreu, Doris Nogueira-Rogers, Emilio Arraiza, Erick Sanchez, Gina Echeverry, Giovanni Escala, Henry Bermudez, Isaias Amaro, Jorge Figueroa, Jose Guacache, Jose Guedez, Karim Marquez, Karla Blanchard, Luz Selenia Salas, Marta Sanchez, Maximiliano Medina, Michelle Ortiz, Morella Jurado, Nicky Enright, Rafael Aviles, Renzo Ortega, Romulo Peña, Roxana Perez-Mendez, Simón Bolívar, Susana Amundaraín, Tony Rocco and Vladimir Da' costa.

Their work plays a distinct narrative in relation to the Diálogo 365 theme and the exhibit gives us an opportunity to see their works in a new context.

Casa de Venezuela will host a reception with the artists on Thursday March 12th, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm in the exhibition space: Crane Arts Building, 1400 N. American Street. Philadelphia. 

This exhibition is possible in part thanks to the support of the board of directors of Casa de Venezuela, particularly Andreina Castillo, board member in charge of cultural programming and Curator of the annual art exhibit.
